Model Railroaders

The Anderson Model Railroad Club, housed on the library's third floor since 1987, features a depiction of Anderson and Madison County with more than 700 feet of tracks and three main train lines.

Hours are 6:30-8:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Want to become a member? The club is looking for those interested in model railroads, history of the railroad and hands-on work such as constructing buildings and scenery.

All ages are welcome for membership, but those under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
